Re-Working Lecture Series 24/25
The theme for our TU Dublin SABE Building Change lectures this academic year is Re-Working. From buildings, to our design and construction practices and to the way we educate, we are engaged in a constant & critical process of rework. The lecture series involves a mix of invited guests and teaching colleagues from TU Dublin whose design practice approaches exemplify the theme in different ways. In the Autumn we were joined by guests Valerie Mulvin and O’Herlihy from McCullough Mulvin Architects, Takero Shimazaki from London, Fergal McNamara from 7L Conservation Architects and our own colleagues Cian Deegan and Alice Clancy of Taka Architects. This coming semester lectures will mostly focus on work produced by studio tutors in the school – Jamie Whelan, Colin MacSuibhne and Mandy Channon of Reir Architects, Anna Cooke of Hannigan Cooke Architects, Darragh Breathnach of Dua, David Jameson of Tún Architects and David Leech.
