As part of an ongoing project, SAUL and UCD returned to Clare Island in Autumn 2024.
This annual inter-university module is a response to a critical need to develop a robust design studio curriculum that seeks coherent responses to the challenges posed by the climate emergency.
Through hands-on planning and activities, students learn and enact practical responses to challenges facing Clare Island, and as a result it is deeply embedded in the resilient design element of the Building Change curriculum.
